Tub Grinder is built to stand up to the toughest service. It can take

• TOTALLY PORTABLE by truck or tractor.
• GRAIN GRINDING and cob corn kit are available options.
• GRINDS LOOSE HAY, small or large bales, up to 35 tons of hay an hour.
• LOW OVERHEAD. The W.H.O. Tub Grinder is designed to be run by one operator to cut down on overhead costs.
• TIP-UP TUB. The entire tub can be hydraulically lifted for service, inspection or changing screens. A safety sleeve locks the tub in the "up" position. The lift cylinder operates off tractor hydraulics.
• TUB PLATFORM. Bracing and extra heavy-duty materials keep the tub platform sturdy even in the "up" position.
A 26-foot long conveyor makes it easy to lift material into high storage bins and large trucks
The tub itself can be lifted hydraulically for cleaning and repairs.A convenient brace provides an added safety measure.
The extra-long conveyor can be raised, lowered or folded from the tractor hydraulics. The grinder doesn't have to be running to adjust conveyor elevation.
An electronic sensor keeps the unit from slugging by slowing down the tub rotation as it grinds through dense material. A simple dial controls sensitivity.

• BEARINGS. Hammermill has heavy-duty Dodge roller bearings on the main shaft and drive for long life. The tub and conveyor roller bearings are standard, over-the-counter items. • CYLINDER DRIVE. The cylinder is driven by a V-belt system rated up to 200 hp.
• ELEVATOR. The extra tall conveyor can be raised, lowered or folded from the tractor hydraulics. The grinder doesn't have to be running to fold the conveyor.
• CONTROLS. A convenient control box lets operator adjust tub speed and set anti-slugging sensitivity from one location.
The tub itself rests on heavy-duty roller bearings, adjustable roller guides make it easy to center the tub and the extra strong chain keeps it turning in the toughest conditions.
Heavy metal grills keep moving parts safely enclosed.
A conveniently mounted safety brace is used to lock tub in the "up" position during servicing.
Hydraulic controls for elevating, lowering or folding the conveyor are located within easy reach.
The tub is driven by a Sundstrand planetary gear with a ration of 22:1.
